# 🛡 Secure Plots **Minecraft 1.21.1 — Fabric** Territory protection mod with menus, roles, upgrades, rank-based permissions, ambient effects, and a fully configurable visual border system. Drop the `.jar` into your `mods/` folder on both server and client. 2. Start the server once to generate config files in `config/`. 3. Edit `secure_plots.json` (server behaviour) and `secure_plots_client.json` (visual settings). --- ## How it works Place a **Plot Block** to claim that area. The block's tier determines how large the protected zone is. Rank-based permissions Ranks let you give different players different plot feature limits — without touching individual permissions per player. Ranks use vanilla command tags, assigned with `/tag add `. ### How it works 1. Define ranks in `secure_plots.json` under `rankPerks`. 2. Assign tags to players with `/tag add ` or the shortcut `/sp admin setrank `. 3. Players with no rank tag use the global defaults. 4. If a player has multiple rank tags, the **most permissive value** of each field wins. 5. All 260+ translation keys cover commands, UI, tooltips, HUD messages, permission names, and every player-facing string.
